Chocolate Cake

1 cup margarine
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 squares melted semi-sweet chocolate
2 tsp vanilla
2 tsp. baking soda
2 1/2 cups plain flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 8-oz carton sour cream
1 cup boiling water

Cream butter & sugar, add eggs, beat well. Add melted chocolate. Add
flour, salt, soda (all sifted together) alternately with sour cream &
vanilla. Add water. Batter will be thin. Pour into greased and floured
tube pan. Bake at 325° for 45-60 minutes. (about 23 minutes for
cupcakes)

Frosting:
3 cups sifted powdered sugar
1 egg
1/4 cup hot water
1 stick butter
3 oz melted chocolate

Beat all together until spreading consistency.
