Meatball Nibblers

Family: Ruth and Roland Trevino
2 lb. Ground Beef
1 1-3/8 oz Pkg Lipton Onion Soup Mix (Onion-Mushroom is good, also)
Salt to Taste
Pepper to Taste
Garlic Powder to Taste
Onion Powder to Taste
1 Tbsp Worcester Sauce
1/4 cup cracker crumbs
1 egg
2 Tbsp Margarine
1 14oz  Bottle Tomato Catsup
1 10oz jar Apple Jelly
1/2 cup Mogan David Blackberry Wine
Mix together beef, soup mix, spices, cracker crumbs and egg.  Form into bite size balls.
Melt margarine and brown balls in margarine.  Remove from skillet.  Melt catsup and jelly; add wine and meatballs.  Cover and simmer 25 minutes. Serve in chafing dish or electric skillet.  Can be shaped ahead and stored in refrigerator.  Yields 5 to 6 dozen (depending on size).
